FIRST DAY:
Departures from Baños at 9:00 am. Pick up in your hotel. We going to the river by bus 45 minutes to the Pastaza River where we will start the section class III or IV. Next to the river, the Rainforest rafting staff will set up all the equipment (raft, kayak, first aid kit and others). After that an expert in rafting is going to give you a Safety Talk, he will show you all basic instructions and paddles comands to have a safe and nice trip. After the practice on land we are ready to depart in the raft down the exciting river, where on the way down, we are going to enjoy the wild nature; we will finish after 2 or 3 hrs. After rafting we will go by private car driving about 1 hour further arriving at the camp – which is called Hola Vida – we will have our lunch at the Hola Vida Reserve, then on to visit a beautiful waterfall, which is about two hours away from the cabañas. A refreshing bath in the breathtaking environment makes the area unforgettable on the way to our camp through the Jungle will have informative from explanation from the guide will gives us on everlasting impression of the Rainforest. Furthermore dinner in a peaceful environment, enjoying the fascinating sounds of fauna, gives us an ideal opportunity to imagine life without cars, radio and traffic
SECOND DAY:
After enjoying breakfast in the camp we will walk for about four hours through the Jungle to reach another waterfall which is slightly different one from the previous day. While yesterday’s waterfall was easily accessible by foot, this one, in order to be visible to us, demands a bit more adventure since it is hidden behind the rocks. After having a good swim we return to camp through the thick jungle vegetation to have lunch.
In the afternoon we visit the Quichuas Indian family, where we will find out how they make handicrafts, how they were hunted in the jungle, and about their use of hallucinogenic plants. We will take a an unforgettable canoe ride for about 40 minutes to the next camp which is on the bank of the Puyo river, and in the evening we will have dinner at the second campsite
THIRD DAY:
After breakfast we will go for a short trek up to the top of a small hill. This sightseeing point allows us to obtain a remarkable view of the Tropical Rainforest, After that we return to our lodging for lunch time, and then we will take a truck from here to Puyo arriving around 2 p.m. , and we will return to BAÑOS by bus around 4 p.m. to our Agency
FOURTH DAY (OPTIONAL)
After breakfast will go by truck to Fatima Reserve Animal for watching animals aproximatley 2 o 3 hrs then go to Puyo for the lunch. Then we will return to Baños by Bus around 17: 00
