Day 1 (Arrival at San Cristóbal Airport, SYC) A.M.

Arrival at San Cristóbal Airport and transfer in. You will have to pay your Galapagos National Park entrance fee and your luggage will be inspected.
Day 1 (Colorado Hill) P.M.
Monday
One thing becomes clear on your visit to the Galapagos giant tortoise breeding centre on Colorado Hill: it’s hard work to save the last local giants of San Cristóbal.
Day 2 (South Plaza) A.M.
Tuesday
Popular South Plaza is not to be missed! This bizarre ‘Jurassic islet’ is the best place to see the emblematic ‘Galapagos dragons’, which crawl across it.
Day 2 (Santa Fe) P.M.
Tuesday
Santa Fe is another crown jewel of the Galapagos, where the pale Barrington land iguana and practically every other creature are unique to the archipelago or this island alone.
Day 3 (Champion Islet, Floreana) A.M.
Wednesday
Floreana offers some of most spectacular snorkelling sites, such as Champion Islet. Galapagos sea lions will be waiting to play with you if you’re lucky. From the dinghy, birdwatchers will have the chance to amplify their growing spot lists with the almost extinct Charles mockingbird.
Day 3 (Loberia & Asylum of Peace, Floreana) P.M.
Wednesday
The Asylum of Peace hike goes past a mesmerising cave and visits a fascinating freshwater spring. La Loberia beach is an ideal spot to enjoy the ocean, as well as the sea lions that live there.
Day 4 (Charles Darwin Research Station) A.M.
Thursday
The most memorable part of the Charles Darwin Research Station will probably be the successful breeding centre and its celebrity ‘Lonesome George’.
Day 4 (Highlands, Santa Cruz) P.M.
Thursday
Santa Cruz offers excellent opportunities for seeing wild Galapagos giant tortoises, roaming through pastures in the agricultural zone and in the transition zone of the adjacent El Chato Tortoise Reserve.
Day 5 (Tintoreras Islet) A.M.
Friday
This group of jagged rocky islets just off the coast of Puerto Villamil forms one of the most stereotypical sites of the Galapagos.
Day 5 (Tortoise breeding centre & wetlans) P.M.
Friday
The wetlands and brackish lagoons of Isabela are among the best places to spot aquatic, wading and shore birds.
Day 6 (Moreno Point, Isabela) A.M.
Saturday
Fresh, promising greens of pioneer vegetation contrast strongly with the dead, pitch-black lava flow that once reached the ocean at Moreno Point.
Day 6 (Elizabeth Bay, Isabela) P.M.
Saturday
At the remote Elizabeth Bay you will enjoy the best dinghy-ride of the Galapagos, which combines a visit to the Marielas Islets in the mouth of the bay, with the highest mangles in its innermost heart.
Day 7 (Tagus Cove, Isabela) A.M.
Sunday
Tagus Cove is a historical anchorage at the northern entrance of Bolivar Channel (between Isabela and Fernandina).
Day 7 (Espinoza Point, Fernandina) P.M.
Sunday
Westernmost Fernandina harbours one of the world’s most virgin, untouched ecosystems, and is another crown jewel of the Galapagos.
Day 8 (Bachas Beach, Santa Cruz) A.M.
Monday
Strolling along its coastline, the blinding white Bachas Beach appears full of natural life. It is one of most important breeding sites for Pacific green turtles.
Day 8 (Transfer out to Baltra Airport) P.M.
Monday
Assisted by the naturalist guide and some crew members, the dinghy will bring you and your luggage to Baltra, where we will take the airport shuttle. Your guide will accompany you to the check-in counters in the departure hall.
