FIRST DAY :
We leave the agency at 10 in the morning to Riobamba and then to a place called Candelaria on our way to Chimborazo. Our final destination of the day is «La Hacienda» where we will have lunch before going for a walk in the surroundings.
ITINERARY:
10:00 Meeting at the agency and departure
13:00 Entrance in the Sangay National Park
14:00 Lunch at the hotel
14:30 Trekking of approx. Three hours
19:00 Dinner
SECOND DAY:
We go to the Collante Valley at 4000m, where we will find a shelter. In the afternoon, we will reach the crater at an altitude of 4200m. From there we have a wonderful view on the Canonigo, the Tabernacle, the Friars, Nuns etc.
ITINERARY:
07:00 Wake up and breakfast
08:00 Trekking of 19 Km. for about 4 hours
12:00 Arrival at the refuge at 4000 m
13:00 Lunch
14:00 Trekking to the crater at 4,200 m
16:30 Arrival at the crater
17:30 Return to the shelter where we will sleep
20:00 Dinner
THIRD DAY:
We walk in the direction of the Mandur lagoon (4400m). During the walk, we pass through an altitude of 4600 m.

07:00 Breakfast
08:00 Trekking to the lagoon
13:00 Arrival at the lagoon
14:00 Return
19:00 Dinner
FOURTH DAY :
We return to the “Releche” farm, where our car awaits us.
